Progressive Lenses in Saigon: Brands, Prices and How Long They Take
You can get authentic Essilor Varilux and Zeiss progressive lenses in Saigon at LB Eyewear, with a free eye test in English, same-day pick-up and delivery anywhere in Vietnam. Lens prices start from about 3.3 million VND. Progressive lenses need more precise measurements than single-vision lenses, so plan your visit early in your trip.
This guide explains which brands are available, what they cost, how long they take and how to get used to them. For the basics, read what progressive lenses are and how they work.
Progressive lens brands available in Saigon
At LB Eyewear we fit two main families of progressive lenses:

Measurements that make progressives comfortable
- Up-to-date prescription including the reading addition: a free eye test with an English-speaking optometrist.
- Pupillary distance for each eye and fitting height measured with the frame you choose.
- A frame tall enough for the reading zone; very narrow frames cut off near vision.

Getting used to progressive lenses
Most people adapt within one to two weeks. Move your head, not just your eyes, to look sideways; lower your eyes to read; and wear the glasses full time during the first days. If something still feels off after two weeks, come back so we can check the fitting. Our Vietnamese guide has more tips: mẹo làm quen với kính đa tròng.

FAQ
Can I reuse my own frame?
Yes, if the frame is in good condition and tall enough for a progressive design.

Do progressive lenses work for computer use?
Standard progressives have a narrow intermediate zone; office designs such as Varilux Digitime are better for long screen hours.
Yes. Our Essilor partnership has been covered by VOV and Tiền Phong; see LB Eyewear in the press.
